Below you can find a summary of the most frequently asked questions and their answers 🙂
Simply - you go to the training of the section of your choice, and there you will learn everything about it from the coach. You will check the level of the classes and how they look like. If you decide that you want to stay with us, you will need to register your ISIC AZS membership card and academic affiliation certificate (see questions 3 and 4).

The whole process of getting a membership card has been simplified to online form. In the STUDENT'S CARD section (click here) you will find the guide of how to become a rightful member of our Club, step by step. 🙂 Upon filling the application form you will need your student ID number and a photo in an electronic form. All the other information can be found in the STUDENT'S CARD section. 🙂
The certificate of affiliation can be created only if you have an ISIC AZS card. You need the whole number (with the last letter at the end).
You have to do it BEFORE the competition in which you participate.
You can get it on the website https://planeta.azs.pl/ as soon as student's card is ready, by clicking on "competitor certificate". You enter your name, surname, gender and in the box "AZS ID number" choose "ISIC". (lecturers choose "ITIC") and enter your number. In the last box select "student" or "employee" as appropriate. Then go on and fill in the rest of the required data, i.e. your album number, year of study, faculty, etc. or, in the case of employees, the unit where you work, your full-time position, etc.
PLEASE CHECK ALL THE INFORMATION CAREFULLY AS YOU CANNOT EDIT IT LATER.
Print out the certificate, sign it in the appropriate box and take it to your COS (details about COS at our university can be found here), where they will stamp it, confirming that you are a student. Lastly, take the stamped certificate to your coach.
The membership fee depends on the insurance you choose. These quotes are set by the insurance company. You can check them here: click here. The fee is paid only ONCE and is valid from 1st October (or from the date of issue/renewal of your student card) until the end of the academic year (30th September) and is the same whether you apply in October or in June. In the season 2023/2024 the membership fee is respectively: - for insurance for 8.000 PLN (Standard) - 160 PLN, - for insurance for 25.000 PLN (Comfort) - 190 PLN, - for insurance for 65.000 PLN (Sport) - 1100 PLN.
The insurance company of AZS is PZU. As members of AZS you can choose three policies - STANDARD (insurance for the amount of 7000 PLN), COMFORT (for the amount of 25000 PLN) and SPORT (for the amount of 75000 PLN). TIt is up to you which option you choose (the amount of the membership fee depends on your choice). Each policy is described in detail by clicking here.
You can also find there a table of claims, terms and conditions of insurance, instructions of claims settlement (step by step what to do in case of an accident) and a claim form. Remember that in case of an accident you have to inform the insurer about the damage NOT LATER THAN 14 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE ACCIDENT (unless you cannot do it due to an accident, in which case you should do it within 14 days from the day the reason for not reporting the damage ceased to exist).
You organize it together with your coach - we will be happy to help you in choosing the place and date that suits you. Each section is entitled to partial funding of the camp from AZS (depending on the number of people who participate as well as accommodation costs etc). All details are arranged by contacting the Club President and representatives of the Board.
Just like with the camp, you organize the tournament on your own with your coaches. Come to our office or contact the President of the Club with a schedule of the event. You can count on prizes in the form of AZS gadgets and advertising the event on our website, Facebook Fanpage, profile on Instagram and by posters. Then we will be very happy to describe the tournament on our social media and publish photos from the event.
In order to join the board of KU AZS UKEN Kraków please contact the office of KU AZS UKEN Kraków and submit your candidature. The board is elected for a two-year term. Any AZS member can become a board member, regardless of the section. If you like teamwork, have ideas how to develop the club and are good at organization, join us! 🙂
To receive an absence excuse for missing class due to a game or competition, you must report to the coach of your section or the section in which you participated. The coach will write out such document.
In order to receive a certificate of membership in AZS you should come to the office during its opening hours and there, after checking your data and stamping it by the Club President, such a certificate will be issued.
Applications are submitted directly in the system, while confirmation is obtained in person from the section coach. For sections without trainings, please contact the Club President.
